>no + politics or What We Want< / Edition Kyiv

is an interdisciplinary theatre dance PERFORMANCE
for a temporary collective of dancers, actors, visual artists and musicians from Kyiv, the tatraum projects schmidt from Dusseldorf (D).

From/With: Miriam Gronau, Lena Visser, Viktor Ruban, Svitlana Oleksiuk, Mariia Salo, Stanislav Holtvanychenko, Hannah Busch, Cornelius Scharper, Oliver Bedorf, Simon Fildes, Michael Schmidt

Production: tatraum projekte schmidt

Together they create the >Edition Kyiv< in a 1-week rehearsal process based on the Düsseldorf performance of >no + politics<. In terms of content, they deal with the deterioration process in which many democracies find themselves and the associated perceived societal disorientation. In this context, they focus on questions about visions of the future, future fears of a coming Europe. Linked to this is a performative search for the positive power of the emotional, and the passion for political engagement.

Characteristic of the performance is the interdisciplinary work approach in which all artists are involved, the specific interaction of theatrical-dance-infused actions, visual works, interior design, textual-musical aspects. On this basis, tatraum develops their own unique templates: performative impressions and laboratories for the future.

The entire performance was streamed via tatraum projekte schmidt’s Facebook page.

Produktion: tatraum projekte schmidt
