>no + politics or What We Want / Edition Budapest< is an interdisciplinary theater.tanz.PERFORMANCE for a temporary collective of dancers, actors, visual artists and musicians from Budapest and tatraum projekte schmidt . Together they create in a 1-week rehearsal process based on the Düsseldorf performance of >no + politics< the >Edition Budapest<. In terms of content, they deal with the erosion process in which many democracies (and Europe) find themselves.

Since the described mixed situation is considered a European phenomenon, tatraum projekte already entered into a temporary cooperation with European colleagues such as the British video artist Simon Fildes / Goat for the ‚Edition Düsseldorf‘. This was followed by a collaboration with the Hungarian production venue Art Quartier Budapest and local performers. This is how the ‚Edition Budapest‘ came into being in 2017.

At the end of October tatraum projekte was in the Art Quartier Budapest to develop the >Edition Budapest< of >no + politics or What We Want< with 3 Hungarian colleagues. An intensive, exciting artistic-political encounter.

Thanks to: Art Quartier Budapest for the cooperation and hospitality
